Who attends the 2017 National Catholic Psychotherapy Association Conference?
The Catholic Psychotherapy Association National Conference will benefit Catholic and Christian psychologist, psychotherapist, social workers, LPCs, Marriage & Family Therapists, Diocesan therapists, and any mental health professionals that seek to learn from leading experts about the latest developments and best practices consistent with the teachings of the Catholic Church.
What is the dress code for the conference?
Attire is business casual. Feel free to be comfortable in slacks, polo shirt, sweater, blazer, blouses and most importantly, comfortable shoes. We recommend you dress in layers as temperatures in meeting rooms can vary.
What is the dress code for Opening Night Networking Event and/or the Friday night 10 Year Anniversary Celebration?
Opening Night Networking: casual business attire, as it immediately follows our Opening Mass.
Friday Night 10 Year Anniversary Celebration: Cocktail attire, festive or casual.
However, you will see a little bit of everything that evening as we are in a resort.
Where will the 2018 CPA National Conference be held?
Can we reserve a vendor table for next year?
Yes, you can reserve your table with a $50 nonrefundable deposit. Space is limited.
I am only able to attend the conference one of the two days. Is this okay?
Yes! We offer a one day early bird fee of $200 if registered by July 10th or $250 if registered after July 10th. This fee includes admission into educational sessions, refreshments, admission into vendor area, worship, prayer, confession and continuing education credits. Tickets for the 10th Anniversary Celebration on Friday evening are available for an additional fee.
Can I attend this event if I am not Catholic?
Yes, we welcome all faiths.
Where is my registration packet/ticket?
If you successfully registered online, you will receive a confirmation via email. Your registration packet and/or extra ticket(s) will be held for you at the registration desk. Please print and bring your confirmation with you to the conference.

Is my registration fee refundable if I am unable to attend?
No, registration fees are not refundable. However, they are transferable. You may change or edit your existing registration information at any time by clicking “Review, Change or Update” on the confirmation email you receive.
What will be served for lunch? What if I have dietary restrictions?
At this time, menus have not been selected. Should you have a dietary restriction, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org in advance to let us know of your dietary restrictions and we will be happy to accommodate your specific needs.
Can I buy a ticket to the 10th Anniversary Celebration at the door?
For planning purposes we strongly encourage you to pre-register for this event. However, tickets will be made available during registration hours on Thursday, September 21, 2017 until 12 Noon.
Can I purchase my registration without using the internet?
We offer two forms of registration: online registration and onsite registration. We prefer that you register online to ensure availability of materials and for head counts on food.
What kind of vendors will be at the conference?
Due to the focus of the conference, as well as physical limitations, we are limiting the vendors to those with Catholic products or services. Vendors may include: ministerial services, publishers, nonprofits and professional mental health organizations and services, university, merchandise, gifts, jewelry candles, music etc.

Opening Mass – 5:30 pm
Friday, September 22nd
Morning Mass – 7:30 am
Saturday, September 23rd
Morning Mass – 7:30 am | Vigil/Closing Mass – 5:30 pm
The vendor area WILL NOT be open during Mass.
May I bring a guest?
Yes, he or she may attend. Your guest may register for the one day registration fee.
Can I receive Continuing Education Credit Hours for attending the conference?
Yes! CEU information will be available soon.
Sacrament of Reconciliation will be offered as well as many opportunities for prayer, communal Rosary and silent prayer in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament.
